David G. Cook is the President and Founder of Appraisal Management Research Company (AMRC). Prior to forming AMRC, Mr. Cook led a national property tax consulting firm in business development. Mr. Cook was also Area Manager for a mortgage-banking subsidiary of Citicorp where his Chicago area office led the Midwest region in new loan origination and delinquency control. Since incorporating AMRC in 1990, Mr. Cook has led AMRC in becoming a regional force in the property tax consulting industry. Mr. Cook has over 20 years experience in the field of property tax consulting. He is an Indiana Certified Assessor Appraiser Level II (highest level granted), an Indiana Certified Tax Representative and has successfully completed numerous machinery and equipment valuation courses given by the American Society of Appraisers and numerous real property valuation courses offered by the Appraisal Institute. Memberships and affiliations include Institute for Professionals in Taxation, International Association of Assessing Officers, and various state organizations. Mr. Cook earned his B.A. from Miami University.

Michael L. White is AMRC’s Senior Property Tax Consultant. Mr. White Joined AMRC’s staff after obtaining his B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington. Over the past 12 years Mr. White has gone before Indiana Local and State Property Tax Appeal Boards successfully representing hundreds of Indiana companies. He is experienced with the assessment of commercial and industrial property; including apartments, factories, office buildings, restaurants, warehouses and more. Mr. White is an Indiana Certified Assessor Appraiser Level II (highest level granted), an Indiana Certified Tax Representative and has successfully completed numerous real property valuations courses offered by the Appraisal Institute, as well as, real and personal propety tax courses offered by the State of Indiana. Memberships and affiliations include Institute for Professionals in Taxation and various state organizations.
